Corporate learning
I design and deliver learning experiences for leadership teams, professionals and cross-functional groups. Programs connect generative AI, innovation and strategy to practical decisions, common terminology and hands-on work. They are not product demonstrations.
Teaching experience
Designed and began teaching UCalgary’s first Generative AI and Prompting course in 2023, open to undergraduate and graduate students across campus. A foundational AI-literacy curriculum, inquiry-based course design, and pedagogical ethics are also documented in three 2025 book chapters.
Delivers workshops, keynotes, and training for faculty, researchers, entrepreneurs, professional associations, educational institutions, and organizational teams. Recent formats include a full-day faculty workshop, a two-day staff program, executive and conference sessions, and a series for an Alberta disability-care organization.
Former DBA Graduate Program Director (2023–2025) and former Entrepreneurship & Innovation Area Chair (2020–2023). Current Academic Co-Lead for Digital Worlds and Senior Scholar in the Graduate College, with experience connecting disciplines and mentoring graduate researchers.
Led curriculum work supported by a $315,000 Government of Alberta grant for a no-code / low-code micro-credentials program, alongside teaching and curriculum grants for entrepreneurship technology, digital portfolio micropreneurship, and AI-literacy learning tools.

Current project · K–12 AI literacy
Building on my past success in making complex topics understandable, I am developing guidance and age-appropriate materials for teaching children about AI in K–12 schools.
This work requires particular care. Interacting with generative AI can be like talking to a stranger, so children's exposure should be carefully controlled, supervised, and introduced with clear boundaries. The goal is to help schools and families build AI literacy in a responsible, developmentally appropriate way.
